A position has become available at our head office in Chesterfield for a design architect with a minimum of three years post Part-III qualification experience.
The successful candidate will have credible experience in the design and planning of complex and/or large scale construction projects together with evidence of preparing and presenting major planning applications. The role will entail liaising closely with clients and consultants throughout the initial development stages of the projects.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of a variety of different software packages including AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup etc. as well as the ability to produce strong graphic and written presentations.
Requirements:
minimum three years post Part-III qualification experience
excellent communication skills, both written and oral
high levels of creativity, imagination and vision
excellent presentation skills
excellent design and drafting skills and proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and/or Building Information Modelling (BIM)
a keen eye for the detail of specific tasks, combined with an understanding of how such specifics fit in with the project as a whole
organisation, project management and planning skills, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks
an analytical mind with excellent problem-solving ability
leadership skills as well as the ability to work well within a team of other professionals
