Egmont is the leading publisher for children in the UK, selling more than 12 million magazines per year of titles like Ben 10, Toxic, Disney Princess, Barbie, Dora, Thomas & Friends, Hello Kitty and many more.
We’re looking for a creative and imaginative Designer to work within our new Pre-school team, focusing on licensed magazines and cover-mounted gifts, aimed at children aged 3-6.
Successful candidates will need to show their enthusiasm for children’s magazines and licensed characters plus have a passion for excellent magazine design. A basic knowledge of the key stages of children’s development would be an advantage.
Experience of working on licensed children’s magazines is preferable. You will be organised, efficient and an excellent communicator with a keen eye for detail. You will also demonstrate a good understanding of the current children’s magazine market.
This is a golden opportunity to work with a superb creative team crafting excellent products for the pre-school market.
Must have experience working in children’s magazines at Junior Designer or Designer level.
Adobe Creative Suite skills are essential.
