About
As British Shooting’s Digital Engagement Lead, you will be part of a small but ambitious team, looking to reshape the way our sport engages with its audiences online.
You will develop, drive and support the implementation of the digital engagement strategy, primarily focused on growing and engaging the online community and soon-to-launch British Shooting Clubhouse. You’ll have significant input into the digital content plan, from concept to creation and galvanise the wider British Shooting team to engage with that plan.
Responsibilities
• Development and implement British Shooting’s digital engagement strategy to drive engagement with existing and future target audiences, across all formats of Olympic and Paralympic target shooting.
• Create and manage the British Shooting digital content strategy while establishing a best practice digital experience for subscribers of the British Shooting Clubhouse.
• Implement an online marketing strategy that increases awareness, sign-ups and participation on the British Shooting Clubhouse.
• Manage quality and consistency of content and identify opportunities to improve engagement across our online channels, that fall in line with British Shooting’s brand strategy.
• Be curious and knowledgeable about the latest tools and new developments in digital marketing, always looking for how they can be applied to British Shooting’s digital offering.
• Review weekly data reports for the British Shooting Clubhouse and suggest improvements to reporting and data analysis.

Person Specification
Essential
• You’re a team player.
• You are self-driven with bags of energy and passion
• You have experience in a digital role with a proven track record in building communities through strategic planning, creative solutions and brand partnerships.
• You have an ability to get things done by working with a mix of staff colleagues and volunteers and influencing a broad range of stakeholders.
• You have experience of building communities on a range of social media platforms.
• You have experience of working on web design and development projects.
• You are confident in the application of email marketing with an awareness of the implications of GDPR.
• You are proficient with a range of digital tools/platforms and confident in picking up new ones.
• You have experience with reporting on the success of digital content plans using Google analytics (or other data analytics software).
• You are confident in using video and image editing software including Adobe In Design, Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
• You are confident in using classic office software including Microsoft Office and Adobe.
Desirable
• Experience working in the sports sector,
• Experience working with the Mighty Networks platform,
• You have experience of building CRM systems,
• Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing,
• Experience in a start-up environment.
