About the Football Foundation
Established in 2000, the Football Foundation is one of the largest sports charities in the world. It is a partnership between the Premier League, The FA and the Government, who between them contribute more than £60 million per year towards the development of football facilities across the country, 40% of which is targeted at the 20% most deprived communities.
The Football Foundation is well-known for its use of innovative technology in building cutting edge digital tools, enabling a more efficient way of working and providing our customers with a better user experience. The Digital Solutions team has an exciting remit to transform how the Football Foundation plans, delivers and measures its funding; evidencing the impact our investment is making.

The role
This new role will be crucial to the Foundation’s digital transformation. You will help in driving the development of our digital portfolio; managing the successful delivery of our products and ensuring they each align to the wider strategy and user needs.
You will have ownership of the product roadmap for a range of new and existing tools, working with stakeholders to help define these based-on business and user needs, and – in close collaboration with an external digital agency – be responsible for their successful delivery. One of your key products, is the exciting and ambitious new project to re-design Upshot, the Foundation’s monitoring and evaluation system. The platform is used by over 750 organisations to manage, monitor and evidence their community projects and enables the Football Foundation to measure and analyse the impact we are making to people’s lives. Several other exciting digital developments are also in the pipeline for you to product manage.
This will be a key role within our Digital Solutions team, and you will work closely with internal teams, our Funding Partners and our external technical development team, to deliver innovative, user-focussed tools that support our ambitious plans.
