Joyce Wang Studio is looking for an experienced FF&E designer to join its boutique London team.

Based in Hong Kong and London, Joyce Wang Studio is currently involved in high-end luxury hospitality projects in exciting cities such as Hong Kong, London, Bangkok, Vancouver and Dubai.

FF&E designers are involved at all stages of the project and responsibilities expected are detailed as follows:

Presentation

create moodboards that showcase suitable materials, furniture and fixings
sketch custom fittings, furniture and lighting
liaise with suppliers to stock FF&E library tastefully
always in consideration of lead time, pricing and budget
compile FF&E presentations and present to clients

Detail design

liaise and negotiate with suppliers on alternatives as necessary
build-up JW Studio valuable supplier base in London
draw up custom lighting and furniture designs in AutoCAD
compile FF&E specifications for finishes, sanitaryware, furniture, lighting, accessories, hardware etc

Implementation

oversee mockups and prototypes of custom FF&E and furniture
assist in installation stage of timely arrival of furniture
quality control of design aesthetics
ensuring hospitality and functional requirements are met
producing FF&E snag list and follow up
always ensure open communication to teams internally and externally

Requirements:

minimum three years experience of working in luxury and bespoke hospitality projects
ability to manage a team internally and manage client expectations
degree in Interior Design
proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Excel and Word is a must
highly desirable ability to use AutoCAD
