Universal Design Studio is a multi award-winning London-based architecture and design consultancy, founded in 2001 by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby to focus on architecture and interiors within their award-winning product and furniture design folio. We operate internationally and work with some of the best known global brands to create arresting, comprehensive environments. We work with commercial clients as well as museums and other public bodies.
We are accepting applications from experienced design assistants to mid level architects or designers, who work on a self employed basis for freelance or three-month fixed term contract work.
You must be self-motivated and ambitious, enjoy working in a team and thrive on creative processes. Applicants must also have demonstrably impressive design skills and be highly capable conceptually with a proven ability to communicate design ideas to a range of audiences. You must also have a precise eye and commercial awareness.

Key requirements:
excellent 2D and 3D CAD skills, Vectorworks preferred
Cinema 4D, experience desirable
fluency in spoken and written in English
excellent organisational skills
ability to work within short deadlines
