Freelance Sports Reporter – Sportsdata – UK

Job Description
The job is going to football matches in your area and reporting from the games using your own mobile phone. You don´t need to speak when you report from the games, but you might need to speak with members of our team under certain circumstances. You will use the buttons on your phone to report data from the games according to special system which will be introduced to you.

Once you have completed 40 games and trained on at least 3 sports, you are given the opportunity to cover tournaments in UK and abroad at a rate of 120 Euros per day plus reimbursement for your flight and accommodation. We cover dozens of weekly tournaments which usually pay around 840 Euros per week plus expense reimbursement
The data gathering system might seem complicated at first, but when you have studied it well and taken the online training game, you will get better understanding of the system and it will be very easy to use.

You will only have to go to games when you are available. When you have finished the training program, you will get access to a section of the website where you will see all games that are available. Then you can apply for all games you are able to attend in your area, and will be consequently assigned games according to your availability and demand for specific games from other candidates.

You are free to cover any number of games you want. The company covers the following sports: football, ice hockey, basketball, handball, rugby, tennis, volleyball, badminton, table tennis and beach volleyball. We will soon start covering snooker.

How to apply
To apply please log on to:

http://www.sportsdata.ag/external/sportsdata/index.php#app/scout (you should see “scout application form”) and fill out the application form. At the end of the application form, please select Jose Live Sports as supervisor (this is very important).
Applications usually take a day or two to be reviewed. Once your application has been accepted, you can proceed to the online training.

Please make sure that you enter a proper phone number with UK country code (i.e. +44). In the application on the website you have to choose the country, in this case appears England. Under it there is a gap to fill in with your telephone number. Don´t write +440784…. . This will be rejected because after the code +44 the first “0” is wrong so the way you need to fill it in is +44778… without the first “0”.
You will be given details about the online training and guidelines once you have signed up.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I will be glad to help.
