Catering Design Group is seeking a graduate designer with good design and technical drawing abilities to develop design layouts and proposals for presentation to our clients within the hospitality and leisure sector.

Catering Design Group is one of the UK’s leading restaurant and commercial kitchen design companies, providing innovative design-led solutions for the hospitality and leisure industry. Established in 1990, the company has a rich heritage spanning 24 years, with expertise in interior design, kitchen planning and implementation across the following key sectors – education, retail, leisure and B&I.

Key duties will include:

liaison with clients, architects and colleagues
accurate interpretation of a design brief to produce layout drawings
development of initial ideas to produce the most appropriate solution (in terms of innovation, environment, space and budget parameters and client preference) and production of presentation materials to best illustrate the design and so create the best opportunity for the company to ‘win the business’
liaison with suppliers and product research to achieve the best possible design solution
coordination of visuals
technical detailing (e.g. services, shopfitting detail, lighting layouts etc)

For this exciting opportunity you will need to be a graduate in a design related discipline with knowledge of Photoshop and AutoCAD, as well as the desire and passion to develop your career within the hospitality and leisure sector.
