Job Description
We’ve got some big marketing and new product development plans and we’re looking for a graphic designer to help our marketing and events teams. Reporting into the Marketing Manager, we’d like to find someone who’s looking to help build and deliver world-class events through branding and design.
What you’ll be doing:
•Designing and developing the creative elements for the online and offline marketing campaigns across all events
•Designing and developing the creative elements for the events team across all brands
•Assisting with the e-marketing strategy, developing and implementing templates for each brand and supplying images when required to assist the Marketing Manager and Marketing Co-ordinator
•Designing artwork for advertising publications, adhering to marketing strategy and incorporating USPs for each brand
•Executing online marketing strategies using engaging digital solutions – Video ads, banner ads, website interaction, Facebook ads and other online sources
•Updating websites across all events, including e-commerce
•Being a brand ambassador
What you’ll be working on:
We are the organisers of some of the UK’s largest mass sports participation events: The Edinburgh Marathon Festival, The Bournemouth Marathon Festival, The Scottish Half Marathon + 10K; Kilomathon, Big Fun Run Series, Men’s 10K and Supernova Run.
The role will be responsible for contributing to the planning, development and delivery of marketing plans across all our events.
We’re looking for someone who…
•Understands & can demonstrate the importance of multimedia marketing
•Is an expert user of Adobe design software
•Is an expert user of WordPress
•Understands the importance of attention to detail
•Understands the importance of working to brand guidelines while being creative
•Shows a clear understanding of team working and communication
So, do you possess the following?:
•An ability to develop and communicate ideas and a willingness to share
•Experience in a similar role either in-house or agency
•A design degree or equivalent
•Experience managing design processes within a similar organisation
•The ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexities simultaneously
•Acute attention to detail with the ability to work quickly and accurately
•The ability to see the design process through from start to finish
•A creative personality, a flair for design
