Job description:
LSE Students’ Union and University of the Arts London Students’ Union represent more than 30,000 students across two central London universities. Our communications platforms are sector leading and we are looking for a full-time in-house designer to join our team and take our comms to the next level. We are committed to providing exceptional opportunities for our staff to learn and develop within their roles and offer an excellent environment in which you can grow in experience and skills.
In this role, your time will be divided between the head offices of our two organisations, working as part of the communications team. You will have responsibility for working across multiple forms of output to create original digital and printed design. You will coordinate both organisations’ brand identity, ensuring that our physical spaces and publications are in line with our two very different brand guidelines. The successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring that LSESU and SUARTS continue to deliver accessible, compelling artwork across all our communications platforms.
We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic designer who has a strong conceptual understanding of current design trends and skill with producing highly varied work for diverse audiences. You will have the ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities and time-manage effectively to design and order projects to deadline.
The successful candidate will be highly proficient on Creative Cloud and a great communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with multiple teams to ensure their work is taken from design concept through to the production.
If you have a portfolio that shows a range of tones and styles, are passionate about designing for specific audiences and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!
