This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and operational IT/Facilities professional to join Contact a Family at a crucial time in our development. A forward thinking and ambitious person is sought to take over and participate in the shaping of this business critical department. He/She will be tasked with preparing and presenting proposals for improvements and new ideas to the current environment.
The role is responsible for the day to day management of the infrastructure, services and line management of up to three direct reports.
Experience of project management is essential due to a number of planned changes in the near future. The role requires management of the full project life-cycle from project planning and initiation through to presentation and delivery.
Key elements of the role are:
development and support of the IT/Facilities team
project managing systems and solutions from design to completion
providing technical input to management
continually improving IT services
providing a high quality customer service.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will be someone with experience of managing an IT department and services, leading on IT infrastructure projects and team leadership and management.
You will need to be proactive in being aware of industry developments to help develop the department. Strong technical knowledge and experience is crucial. Previous experience of managing facilities would be an advantage.
