The IT & Computing Department at South Staffordshire College require a 0.75 FTE teacher to work across both Cannock and Tamworth campuses
About the role
We are looking to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated, enthusiastic and skilled IT & Computing teacher. We wish to appoint a teacher who has high expectations for all learners and can support learners to make progress through providing rich and personalised experiences. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and will be required to teach networking, programming, and will preferably have the versatility to teach web along with more generic IT subjects at levels 2 and 3. The successful candidate will have tutor group responsibilities.
Qualifications desired/essential
Essential – Degree or equivalent in IT/Computing, a recognised teaching qualification and experience of delivering and assessing BTEC Level 2 & 3 Diplomas.
Desirable – Experience of internal verification and experience of tutor group responsibility.
