We are looking for a highly organised, proactive industrial designer to become a productive team member. We are looking for someone who is a problem-solver, versatile, with meticulous attention to technical detail. The candidate should be efficient with their time and be prepared to join an extremely fast-paced and demanding environment.

Responsibilities:
to convey creative and technical design solutions to clients brief
to produce working drawings for prototype
to produce estimates and timetables
to manage assistants on specific projects
to carry out site visits and liaise with suppliers and clients
Requirements:
the position requires candidates with at least three years experience, a solid background in industrial design and product engineering with in-depth knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
the candidate must be comfortable working within a team environment and have the confidence to project manage small to large scale size projects, to effectively problem solve, prioritise and follow through on projects
conceptual understanding and an ability to illustrate using various software packages required. Advanced knowledge of Solid Works, Rhino, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign essential. Experience with animation an advantage
the ability to work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative. Time-management skills are essential; in addition to the ability to work on high pressure projects and meet tight deadlines
good communication skills with excellent spoken and written English
This is a full-time position and the salary will be dependent on experience. Applicants must currently be London-based with a valid working visa and available to work at Paul Cocksedge Studio in east London from mid-July 2015.
