Halo Design Interiors are looking for a talented CAD technician to join our small busy interior design practice based in Weybridge in Surrey. Our projects are fast paced and dynamic, so you must manage your own tasks, keep calm under pressure and be very proactive.

Responsibilities:

production of technical drawing packages
undertaking site surveys

Requirements:

four to five years of relevant and proven industry experience
English as a first language
advanced AutoCAD skills
good knowledge of materials and fabrication processes
a strong sense of aesthetics and materiality alongside current trends
evidence in the CV of technical detailing
3D modeling skills would be desirable but not essential
good hand drawing skills would be desirable but not essential

Interpersonal skills:

ability to be self-directed and highly motivated with a hands-on energetic approach
be a clear confident communicator with internal and external people at all levels, and be an effective team player
highly efficient, ability to think creatively and work to tight deadlines
attention to detail and critical thinking throughout the design process
flexibility and an ability to manage multiple projects at one time
ability to stay calm under stress, be self-motivated , including some working outside of usual office hours
excellent time management skills
