Interior Designer / Project Coordinator – Sigmar – London

A small, high-end design practise based in central London are looking for an experienced interior designer/project coordinator to join their design team, working on varied residential projects. The candidate should be approachable, well organised, competent and creative. Used to working on multiple projects simultaneously and switching between tasks seamlessly.

Key day-to-day tasks of the interior designer include:

liaising and communicating with clients, and managing their expectations
performing day-to-day administrative tasks in the office, and for each project
work with a team, delegating tasks and providing support to other designers
work closely with the creative director to prepare, develop and produce client concept designs and presentation documents that include plans, sections, elevations, perspective visuals, furniture drawings, 3D renders.
managing project budgets and orders
networking and liaising with suppliers

Key attributes of the interior designer include:

full BA in Interior design
proficient in using Vectorworks, Indesign, Photoshop and Excel
minimum three years experience in the high-end residential sector, able to demonstrate experience of completed projects
highly organised individual
strong design and technical skills
able to produce strong drawings, visuals and sketches
personable character, able to deal with clients confidently
good time management, skills to meet multiple deadlines and prioritise workload
knowledge of finishes, materials, packages and details
confident to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and must be able to produce work of a high standard under pressure and within tight deadlines
fluent in English, verbal and written
passion and drive for design
flexible and willing to tackle all parts of a project, with a positive can-do attitude
