The role:
Interior and event designer
You are a creative 3D designer with proven experience generating and executing design projects ranging from product/exhibition displays to interior design.
With responsibilities for the generation and execution of internal events and internal interior design requirements, you will be able to understand and interpret a design brief to create product displays, spaces and bespoke items that are original and technically thought through. You should also be able to work on individual projects and integrate with team when necessary.
A strong designer with excellent communication skills, you will have vast experience of leading discussions with key stakeholders to scope out the requirements to create a design intent and bring it through the build process to completion. With an excellent attention to detail, you will be able to produce technical drawings for the refit team to generate an inspirational display for an event, while prioritising workload and the ever-changing demands of the business.
Experience of working within the kitchen industry, which is our main area of expertise, is desirable. With a keen eye for shape, form, colour and up to date with the latest design trends, this is a challenging role where managing multiple types of projects ranging from graphic to exhibitions displays is essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an interior/exhibition designer to work with a great team of people and progress within the business working in our design studio based in Howden, East Yorkshire.
The role will involve travel across the UK and abroad where required.
Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 per annum depending on experience, plus 10% bonus and excellent benefits.
