You will support us in managing our IT resources, provide technical knowledge and advice and be the lead contact with our external contractors/suppliers.
You will ensure that our existing and future IT requirements are appropriately sourced and internal controls, policies and procedures are fit for purpose. Supporting our internal users and managing the external contractors in fault diagnosis and repair is vital, across a wide range of IT, telephony and database systems. You will be the System Administrator for our new England Golf website, Intranet and Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system which are critical to our business operations. We require someone who is up to date on IT trends and technology and who has the ability to think about our future IT needs, within a not-for-profit organisation.
As the national governing body for amateur golf we work at the heart of golf in England, supporting and empowering a thriving community of players, counties and clubs to get the most out of the game we love.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
• Vocational/degree qualifications in IT or related subject or solid work experience in an IT support role.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, IT systems and security.

• The ability to coordinate IT projects with external suppliers and contractors.
• Ability to communicate complex technical matters to non-technical staff.
• Up to date knowledge of IT trends and technology.
The successful applicant needs to have previous experience in a similar support team role and of working with contractors or suppliers. You must be motivated with a positive solution focussed attitude. A knowledge of the game of golf is not essential for the role. We value being honest, inclusive, responsible, excellent and supportive.
