An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a boutique interior design practice based in London (high-end residential projects).

We are looking for a junior interior design assistant, ideally with SketchUp/InDesign knowledge.

We would like to stress that the position is 90% administrative support and does not involve much design work.

May/June start date required.

Salary: £20,000

Requirements:

impeccable written and verbal English is expected, in addition ideally either French, Italian or German
a very good interior design qualification/education such as a degree or background in architecture/design/fabrics
ideally one to two years experience in ID along with knowledge of suppliers, materials, fabrics and soft furnishings in UK and abroad
creative and self-motivated team member who will show initiative, who will thrive on a varied workload and who will be happy to perform ad-hoc tasks upon request
imagination and an impeccable eye for detail as well as accuracy, good numeracy and speed of thought
exceptional communication skills and a calm, professional character
smart personal presentation would be much appreciated
ideally Sketchup/CAD/InDesign/Photoshop skills
