The space* studio is a well established design-led practice which spans architecture and interior design/refurbishment and works in a multitude of sectors including residential, education, workplace, hotel and leisure, retail, and extra care.
We are looking for a mid-level interior designer/interior architect to join our team of eight staff to work directly with our interior design director, work alongside the architecture team, as well as have their own clients and projects. We are seeking someone looking for a fresh challenge, to make a step-up, and to be an integral part of our team and build a career with us.
The successful candidate will have experience working in the industry previously, ideally at least three years post degree qualification. You should be capable of running your own projects, liaising with clients and consultants and possess the ability to work independently.
Experience of Vectorworks and to a lesser extent, Revit is desirable but not essential. Candidates who have the ability to produce high-quality visuals using SketchUp and VRay will be at advantage. A driving licence and use of a car are desirable and good English language writing skills are essential as is fluency in English due to the client-facing nature of the position.
