RFR is a unique multi-disciplinary property advisory firm with a young, vibrant and fast-expanding interior design business at its core.
RFR is looking for a self-motivated, pro-active and organised interior designer with five plus years worth of residential experience and an entrepreneurial spirit to take a senior role within the interior design arm of the business from its offices in south west London.
We are looking for an excellent well-rounded candidate who is comfortable managing multiple projects, both creatively and technically, from concept to completion.
Our design approach is ultimately client-led but we lean towards an eclectic and playful aesthetic with traditional, elegant foundations.
As a team we pride ourselves as much on the management of a project as on the creative work we produce and are looking for someone who is passionate about the whole process.
The candidate will be required to manage two to three junior designers, co-ordinating workloads and priorities and overseeing the creative development and successful management of each project.
The business is run by former lawyers who have a keen eye for a good document trail and well run budgets (!) and the candidate should be extremely organised and have good writing and numerical skills.
The position will also involve a considerable amount of business development and pitching alongside the company directors and a great deal of client facing so the candidate should be comfortable with an outward facing role.
Whilst we are not looking for a pure technician, good CAD/Vectorworks/Sketchup skills and hand sketching are required. Good supplier relationships are also welcomed.
