Moving image creative reporting to: head of moving image
Who we are:
Founded in 2004 by Warren Bramley and Darryl Hardman, four23 came to life as a multi disciplinary communication studio, bringing creativity, imagination and craftsmanship to a diverse range of clients including global organisations – adidas, Oakley and Virgin – arts and charitable institutions – the Medici Quartet and Graeae Theatre Company – and for individuals including Olympic athlete Mo Farah and Oscar winning actor Kevin Spacey.
What we’re looking for:
you will work within our moving image team to support the delivery of our film, motion graphic and photography projects
you must be comfortable and confident to go on shoots
you will have a great, wide range of references. You will be passionate about filmmaking in all forms
it’s a small team, so you’ll be hands on
you’re not only in a moving image company – instead you’ll be sat with graphic designers, researchers, writers and project managers – so we need you to see wider than just moving image
you will be proactive in business development, creating opportunities and building partnerships with potential clients and collaborators
Skills:
you will have a passion for filmmaking and story telling
you will be able to take a creative idea and work alongside our moving image team to translate initial concepts through the production process to finished edits, with the use of great references and a great knowledge of the application of film across digital formats
you will research, create narratives, write scripts, draft storyboards, create interview questions and suggest audio and soundtrack options
you will be a good cameraman/woman with an eye for the best shot fused with the technical of the film and lighting process
you will have good editing skills
this role combines creativity and practical production thinking to support the delivery of our moving image projects
you will be a great communicator
Notes:
you’ll be highly organised, remain calm under pressure and be able to manage your own time
you’ll be aware of the overall delivery requirements of the studio, and communicate project updates regularly and with clarity.
you will demonstrate you value others’ input and expertise and are keen to learn
you thrive working collaboratively, build great relationships within our network and really enjoy the creative process
you will be comfortable presenting your ideas in a confident, assured manner when presenting to clients or talking in group meetings

three years’ experience in a project delivery environment
