BCR Publishing is a leading publisher in receivables finance. We create and deliver news, reports and events covering global financial markets and operate in a B2B commercial environment.

Due to continued expansion we are now recruiting for a full time on-line journalist to create interesting and attractive content for our industry news and information portal trfnews.com.

You will be a highly motivated individual who can work within a small team in Bromley. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will have experience in interviewing – both on the telephone and face to face, commissioning articles, selecting, finding and editing news stories, ensuring the news site is up-to-date and well populated with interesting news items and other editorial. Energy and ambition are equally important. Knowledge of economics and/or business finance would be a distinct advantage.

Main duties:

Writing and commissioning news items and articles
Interviewing and building relationships with key industry executives
Increasing subscriptions through developing interesting and relevant content
Ensuring the website content is current and up to date

Essential skills/experience:

Excellent written and verbal skills
Confident and personable telephone manner
Experience in journalism
Knowledge of economics and/or business finance, a distinct advantage.
