Baca Architects is an award-winning, vibrant architectural practice in central London. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is a good all-rounder to fulfil a varied office management/PA role and assist with project enquiries, website and media elements within the company. The position is full-time with a start date of as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate should have experience within a busy office environment, possess strong multi-tasking skills, and hold some prior health and safety knowledge. Any tender preparation or media experience would also be useful.
The right candidate will:
possess a personable manner
be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of InDesign/Photoshop would be beneficial
have an eye for detail
be super-organised with a solid work ethic
be able to work independently or in support of the team
Main duties include, but are not limited to:
PA support to two directors (diary management, travel arrangements and administrative tasks etc)
HR (contracts, timesheets, inductions etc)
office management (answering telephones, updating manuals, database management, supply ordering, filing, renewals, etc)
ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
secretarial and administrative (greeting clients, answering phone, arranging meetings etc)
provide support to bookkeeper (petty cash, expenses, banking etc)
facilities management (maintaining plotter, printers, PCs and other equipment)
help with updating the website and developing tender submissions
ad hoc assistance with PR enquiries, marketing and events
liaising with suppliers
Previous administrative experience is essential as the successful candidate will need to acclimatise quickly.
Salary £25,000 to £35,000 dependent on experience, with 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
