As a new company we have an exciting opportunity for a talented product / jewellery designer to join our team and play a significant role in our growth. The position will involve developing and managing highly contemporary and original objects and jewellery projects from initial enquiry through to final install.
The right candidate would have a minimum of three years experience as a product designer. We are looking for motivated individuals with good knowledge of manufacturing processes who are well versed in the the process of bringing designs to life.
Main responsibilities:
work under the creative direction of the lead designer to develop projects from concept through to manufacture and installation
fully manage projects from start to finish
You will need the following skills and experience:
a minimum three years of relevant experience in product design, with great ability to work with splines and nurbs to work in objects, jewellery
candidate has also to have the mind and ability to create and design detailed, working mechanisms
a degree in product design; or closely related
excellent 3D CAD and visualisation software skills (Rhino 3D and Rhino Gold)
experience producing production drawings
sound technical knowledge of product
outstanding attention to detail and an ability to deliver
need to show complementary recent projects from clients and a comprehensive CV
be a great communicator
The venue will be in the studio at London W2.
