seeking a confident, efficient and self-motivated Production/Web Editor to work out of its Minories offices in the City of London. Knowledge of the shipping/tanker industry would be desirable but is not essential.This is a varied and challenging role, which will prove rewarding for the right candidate.
Applicants should:
have excellent command of both spoken and written English;
be experienced in both online and print copy editing;
be comfortable writing news articles, executive summaries, briefings, press releases etc.;
have experience of content management/development work across a portfolio of publications and online materials, in INTERTANKO’s case this includes a weekly e-newsletter, best-practice guidance and publications, as well as an extensive Member website;
have excellent knowledge of online CMS systems, such as Joomla;
have demonstrable experience of using InDesign or QuarkXpress and ideally Illustrator, Photoshop or similar packages;
be fully IT literate and have good knowledge of Microsoft office products.
Experience with social media in a work context would be an advantage.
You will work alongside an international team of colleagues in INTERTANKO’s Oslo, London, Washington and Singapore offices, as well as Association Members worldwide, and will support them with style, consistency and quality of written materials. You may also occasionally travel overseas as part of this exciting role.
