London-based Nex is an award-winning architecture studio that connect people to place through inspiring architecture. We have a vacancy for an ambitious and experienced project architect to work on UK cultural and leisure projects won in international competition, and other innovative mixed-use schemes.
The successful candidate will have at least three years post Part-III UK experience and your role will be job runner on one or more projects. You will value architecture that is people centred and experience focused, have a passion for material craft, and innovating in the way architecture is made.
Candidates should demonstrate the following skills:
strong design and representation skills
UK job running experience of through all RIBA Stages in award-winning refurbishment and new-build projects
fully proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
excellent 3D modelling skills
strong detailing ability and broad UK technical knowledge
clear and concise communication skills with experience of building strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
excellent organisational and time management skills, with experience of working well under pressure
demonstrated ability to lead projects and meet project and resource programmes
ready to be a proactive part of a small collaborative team, show initiative, and act autonomously
a record of staff mentorship and supporting team professional development
