We are seeking a project design coordinator to join our team in our furniture showroom. The role will be for a period of 12-16 months for covering maternity leave of another member of staff.
You will be working on a variety of projects, which range from coordinating and managing production of furniture for hotels and serviced apartments, coordinating and managing high end residential furnishing projects and liaising with new clients in the showroom.
More specifically, it will involve putting together quotations/managing procurement/FF&E specification, planning/product drawings, presentation boards through to coordinating and managing the project through to installation and after sales.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in the field of furniture or interior design and at least three to four years’ experience working on hotels and high end residential projects. You must be highly organised with experience of working with clients and sub-contractors from inception to completion of each project.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9-6pm and one Saturday every six weeks, which a day in lieu is given.
IT skills required: AutoCAD, Photoshop and Microsoft Word and Excel packages essential. Knowledge of Sage 50 is a bonus.
Salary offered will be between £26-28k p/a.
