Urbanist Architecture is a London-based practice specialising in planning permission applications and architectural and interior design. They work primarily on high-end residential projects including refurbishments, renovations and new build flats and houses.

Currently Urbanist Architecture is looking for a project manager/design supervisor to join their young and growing practice. This is a full-time temporary position for three months but could become a permanent role for the right candidate.

Minimum requirements:

degree in Architecture or Interior Design or Building Surveying
previous work experience in the luxury residential sector
exceptional organisation and problem-solving skills
excellent communication and negotiation skills (both spoken and written)
good technical knowledge of building materials and techniques
a strong understanding of fine finishing
attention to detail and quality control
ability to manage budgets, schedule work and meet deadlines
fluency in English (additional languages such as Russian or Italian or Turkish preferable)

Responsibilities:

preparing working drawings
preparing schedule of works
preparing bill of quantities
managing tender procurement strategy and progress
identifying supply chain and assessing quotations
managing supply of materials
managing appointment of sub-contractors and consultants
providing site supervision
liaising with clients, suppliers, sub-contractors and consultants
