Research and Communications Co-ordinator – Balmond Studio – London, United Kingdom

Research projects

Work with director to identify new research opportunities both from existing work and new sources across different mediums.

Work with marketing team to create campaigns around research projects.

Run monthly in-house studio presentations/workshops on research.

Implement quarterly in-house exhibition on works (including publications/live projects/speculative).

Assist on implementation and creation of in-house monthly blog, TiP.

Communications

In-house point of initial contact for all press requests.

Action any UK/European press requests.

Work with press and marketing team in Colombo, Sri Lanka to ensure synergy.

Required

Must be graduate from the arts/architecture/design/science with avid interest and passion in the design world.

Minimum three years experience working in professional environment in archive and/or communications/research role.

Position involves liaising across our global offices so must have someone willing to work across time zones.

Attention to detail and an eye for opportunity is a must.

Must be driven, tenacious, self-starter – able to push-forward and achieve results.

Reporting to line manager, studio co-ordinator.

Skills

InDesign, fluent in English.
