We have a position for an architect to join our retail team in Winchester. This is a job runner post and the responsibilities will include:

work with the HH account manager and client PM on development of design concepts
review designs for code compliance
building surveys – short notice travel; site measurements and notes; check for DDA compliance; report to client
permits – prepare planning and listed building applications and monitor progress with local authority
tenders – prepare bid documents and drawing packages
construction stage – site visits; weekly conference calls; submittal review; RFI review
correspond with project managers for project specific info

The essential requirements for this post are:

ARB registration
RIBA Part-III qualification
Masters or Diploma degree
three plus years post-qualification experience
one plus years retail experience
AutoCAD – fluent
REVIT – basic
MS Office – intermediate
MS Project – basic
excellent presentation, written, verbal and graphics communication skills
fluent written and spoken English

We are looking for a team player who is self-reliant, well-organised, meticulous and efficient. A second European language is desirable.
