About Balineum:
We are passionate about beautiful bathrooms, so much so that we named ourselves after the Latin word for bathhouse. We offer our customers a carefully curated collection of bathroom furnishings and furniture.
Balineum launched in November 2007 selling online fabric shower curtains and liners. Through word of mouth and PR, our sales have grown steadily since. Our product range continues to expand offering all the elements our customers need when decorating or renovating their bathrooms.
Our customers are both individual and interior designers, but it is primarily interior designers with whom we work and this role is focused exclusively on building relationships with interior designers.
Background to appointment:
Balineum operates from a home-office in Hampstead NW3. This office is supported by a team of freelancers, suppliers and advisors located all around the world.
The business is looking for a dedicated sales manager who will work exclusively on sales to interior designers. Until now, meetings and sales to interior designers have been handled solely by the company founder but it now requires the attention of a dedicated person. This sales role involves selling our existing or ‘standard’ product range to designers as well as working closely with interior designers on custom and new products. Most of Balineum’s products can be made in custom sizes and finishes, so the role does require a detailed understanding of Balineum’s product range and our supplier capabilities, as well as a passion for interior and product design.
We also have a series of exciting product launches planned over the next 18 months, which will provide plenty of opportunities to communicate with interior designers.
The role will require the successful candidate to work from Balineum’s home office in NW3 as well as travelling extensively to meet with interior designers in their studios.
The role can be part-time or full-time role depending on the successful candidate. As this candidate is the face of our brand to our most important clients it is very important for Balineum that we find the right person for this role.
