London-based design house Elicyon, that continues to secure more exciting projects throughout London and internationally, currently seeks a talented and motivated senior designer to join their 12 strong team with a capacity to visualise, design and deliver projects to an exemplary standard.
This role will require you to have exceptional interior design skills with a background in luxury residential projects. You will possess excellent leadership skills and experience of developing strong client relationships.

Role deliverables:
set FF&E budget for project. Lead, coordinate and manage the selection, detailing and implementation of FF&E items including bespoke pieces. Take full responsibility for delivering projects within the set FF&E budget
set and manage the programme for the FF&E items and ensure everything is delivered to meet the installation dates
lead and manage the project presentations: create immaculate presentations in InDesign, including boards of mood images, rendered plans and elevations (coloured in Photoshop), digital material palettes (assembled in Photoshop), visualisation of the designed spaces (either hand sketches or sketch-up renderings), bespoke furniture design and visualisation
manage the quality of the projects and ensure that everything from presentations to the bespoke furniture and light fittings are of exemplary standard and meet our client’s expectations
act as a role model and manage a combination of architects and designers: set tasks for design team and manage their workflow on a weekly basis
manage project documentation delivery: lead and organise schedules, digital folders and physical material palettes
represent the company to suppliers and consultants: coordinate with external professional consultants to integrate requirements and meet project objectives
client relationship: leading to positive feedback and repeat projects or referrals
Role competencies:
attention to detail and commitment to quality and innovation in design
a minimum of five years of experience in the interior design business; relevant experience of luxury residential projects with high FF&E budgets (minimum £500,000), a minimum of three years experience within a London team which has delivered projects in Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Belgravia and Chelsea. Proven experience in bespoke joinery and furniture design and client liaison. Experience of international projects of added advantage, but not necessary
team management skills: proven record of managing small team with limited supervision
software proficiency: AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, EstiPC (preferred but not necessary), Microsoft Office Suite
bespoke furniture design – experience in designing innovative furniture pieces, proven record of successfully communicating the concept and technical details through 3D model, hand sketches and/or CAD drawings
excellent eye for materials and palettes, generally stylistically aligned with the Elicyon style
good time management and multi-tasking skills
furniture, interior and spatial visualisation skills
a large network of London based suppliers and manufacturers
client relationship: presentable, fluent English, confident and discrete
proven documentation of producing excellent design presentations
proven track record and ability in day to day tasks of a project (not a specific area of a project such as FFE only)
strong communicator: in person, email and telephone
