B3 Designers are looking for a senior interior designer to join our team. Strong middleweight designers are urged to apply as we value the opportunity to promote members with strong leadership qualities after a period of service to the team.
Overview:
the role would be to lead a team/account and would require a very organised designer who would like the challenge of a leadership position
Key skills required:
a minimum of five to nine years professional experience in hospitality design, experience with fast casual dining design would be very beneficial
extremely confident using VectorWorks, InDesign and Photoshop under pressure
ability to produce good hand drawings to illustrate ideas quickly
ability to attend site meetings on your own and with other team members, dealing with contractors and suppliers
ability to manage time effectively, oversee a number of tasks simultaneously
ability to manage a team; delegating tasks and providing support to junior and middleweight designers
Tasks will include/but not be limited to:
oversee all projects on the account with the support of project runners
run certain projects on your own with the support of junior designers
produce detailed drawing packages and oversee drawings of project runners
storyboarding and creating concept presentations
delegating tasks and supporting junior/middleweight designers
setting and meeting project deadlines with the project account manager
managing jobs, updating your own documents, minutes and schedules

evident passion for hospitality
keen eye for detail and a thorough work ethic
confident with the administrative aspects of design
adaptable, flexible and able to work within a small/medium studio
amicable person with drive to succeed and lots of initiative
