We are seeking a senior designer principally with multi-unit interior residential design experience and additionally corporate interior design experience to join our team. The qualified candidate will have at least seven years of experience.

The successful candidate must have a passion for design as well as project management experience of all aspects of the design process. They will have experience as a creative leader within the studio, being able to motivate, guide and mentor the junior members of the team. The ideal candidate is a conceptual thinker but practical in knowledge of technical issues.

Core activities:

leading the design of major projects from concept to developed design and working with the team during the technical design stages
coordinating a multi-disciplined team to ensure interpretation of the design concepts meet high expectations
experience in specifying and advising clients on furniture
proven ability to develop colour and material palettes for projects along with developing finish schedules, sanitary ware selections and furniture.
must be able to communicate design ideas effectively to the client and the team

Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and InDesign is essential.
