We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Researcher/Writer to join our team of personal finance journalists and deliver fantastic features and investigations – in print and online. This role is a chance to use your money know-how, analytical mind and investigative drive to get to the bottom of the financial issues that are important to people.
We are on the hunt for someone to cover fraud, data privacy and security issues within the world of personal finance – from exposing the tactics being used by financial scammers through to explaining why the latest data privacy issues matter to consumers. Experience of working on these issues would be an advantage, a strong interest in this area is essential.
Which? Money is the best read personal finance title in the UK, with 86,000 subscribers, and our money content online gets around a million visits a month.
What we are looking for
A genuine passion for high-quality financial journalism
Excellent print and online writing skills, including a sound grasp of SEO
Proven research and analytical nous
Someone who is numerate and comfortable handling data in spreadsheets
Creativity and the ability to pitch new ideas as well as writing to brief
Positivity, drive, a hawk-like eye for detail and multi-tasking prowess
The ability to turn in flawless, accurate copy that’s on time every time
Ideally you will also have
Experience of writing investigations
Experience of undertaking/commissioning original research, including surveys
Knowledge of fraud/data security/privacy issues within the world of personal finance
Data journalism skills
