The main focus of the software function is to develop new serverless micro-services using AWS Lambda and TypeScript / JavaScript. There will also be some refactoring of existing codebase as part of legacy platforms.

As a result,
our client is looking for a contract software professional with experience of:
* AWS
* Serverless (Lambda)
* TypeScript – or alternative modern JScript
* CDK
* S3
* Cloud formation
* API gateway

There are also a number of desirable products and toolkits – and it would be advantageous for candidates to have worked in a semi-iterative, agile, XP or TDD environment previously.
Aside from the above skills and competencies, our client seeks a hard-working, driven individual – not afraid to face up to the challenges offered by a new role.
This position is FULLY REMOTE for the foreseeable future due to Covid-19.
