Jackdaw Studio is looking for a studio Manager to join our growing team. It’s an exciting role, where the ideal candidate will be pivotal in the development and growth of the company.
Jackdaw Studio is a friendly London-based interior deign studio working in the commercial sector, mainly on workplace and retail design. We have a hands on approach to design, and enjoy producing great work for good clients. We believe in investing in our people and also creating a supportive work environment.
You should be self reliant with excellent organisational skills. The role requires working with the whole team, clients and external collaborators so you must be confident and a good communicator. Previous experience in this role is a must.
We are looking for the right personality to join the studio. We can flex working hours and reduce studio days for the right candidate.
As the studio manager you will:
develop operational plans, processes and policies for the studio
work with designers to set and maintain schedules for design projects, ensuring completion of work within the design studio
assist with preparing project budgets and maintain cost and project tracking
supervise and coordinate overall administrative activities including answering phones, filing, copying, faxing, scanning and processing expenses
assist in financial management, track and manage client invoicing and accounts payable
develop and implement a marketing and sales strategy to help boost the practice’s profile and grow the business
coordinate meetings internally and externally
Key competencies:

experience of managing and delivering projects
experience in supervision/people management
ability to think strategically and creatively
problem analysis and assessment
planning and organising
work and time management
information gathering and monitoring
teamwork and collaboration
be fully proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and InDesign
