Bradford Academy opened in 2007 as an all through academy with a very simple aim, to deliver the best results, in the best facilities, with the best staff. Ofsted graded us as ‘good’ in 2013 and we have worked hard to develop a formula that we know gives everyone of our diverse mix of children the skills, confidence and support they need to succeed. Our results have improved significantly over time and continue to do so. We have high retention rates and are a popular destination for post 16 students in the area, with a Post 16 now numbering over 350. We are at an exciting time in our journey, securing training school status, providing support to neighbouring schools including the opening of new schools in the area. We recently opened a new multi million pound sports facility on site and anticipate this to be part of a continuing program of expansion and development.
As part of this journey, we are now looking to add capacity to our Technology faculty by appointing a Main Scale Teacher of Food to further develop and drive forward the progress and opportunities for all our young people. You will need to deliver additional specialisms within Design and Technology which is dependent on personal expertise and experience. We are looking for a dynamic and talented individual, who can work with and support our learners to further drive progress and standards.
