Teacher of Design / Technology – Harwich and Dovercourt High School – Essex

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, ambitious and committed classroom practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-resourced specialist team. Design & Technology is taught to all at KS3 and is optional at KS4 and KS5. Uptake has risen significantly over recent years. Applications from NQTs or experienced teachers welcome.

The successful candidate will be required to teach one or more of the following specialisms:

Design
Graphics
Resistant Materials
Food

Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish strong relationships with all stakeholders and enthuse students
Be enthusiastic, a team player, self-motivated and committed to further professional development

Harwich and Dovercourt High School is a 11-18 Academy with 1200 students serving the town and immediate area. It belongs to the North East Essex Education Partnership Trust of seven local independent academies committed to collegiate working.
