Nova Hreod Academy, part of the United Learning Group is looking to appoint, from 13th April 2015, a highly motivated and creative Teacher of Design Technology to join an experienced and committed team of subject specialists delivering a range of courses across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The ability to be able to teach both Food Technology and Textiles to GCSE level would be highly desirable.
The successful applicant will be either a newly qualified teacher looking to develop their career or an experienced teacher with a proven track record of teaching Design Technology in comprehensive schools and able to evidence high levels of student achievement in line with or exceeding national expectations. We are looking for someone with a work ethic that focuses on student outcomes and with a deep commitment to on-going formative assessment, an outstanding role model for colleagues, who is eager to engage in career phase appropriate CDP and hungry for career progression.
