Are you ready to take control of publishing at one of the UK’s leading think tanks?
Operating as a charity and on an entirely non-party political basis, the Institute for Government works to promote more effective government by undertaking and disseminating research, running events, and helping senior civil servants and politicians to develop their skills and their organisations.
We’re seeking an experienced publishing professional to run our website and our publishing operation. The successful candidate will have advanced production management and sub-editing skills; experience of project management, staff leadership and commissioning; an excellent grasp of web publishing and development; and a track record of working across team boundaries to successfully deliver projects. A knowledge of UK government would be highly advantageous, as would experience in marketing, email campaigns and data management.
Our new Web and Publications Editor will play a crucial role in improving the way the Institute communicates, helping us to reach new audiences whilst maintaining our reputation for high-quality publishing. In return we can offer an excellent employment package, including a contributory pension, catered lunches and pleasant offices on the Mall.
