We are seeking an individual to join our award-winning marketing and communications department in the post of web editor. Requiring a combination of excellent editorial, technical, and journalistic skills the web editor post is responsible for overseeing the content and functionality of Arts University Bournemouth’s award-winning website.
By curating and editing content you will ensure that our website doesn’t just provide relevant information to our target audiences, but that it also offers an engaging insight into the life of the University.
Working with a variety of stakeholders you will be responsible reviewing and enhancing the functionality of our website, and integrating all our recruitment and media campaigns into the content. The successful candidate will be happy working independently and as part of a team, and will be skilled in providing clean, accurate, and engaging copy for a range of audiences. Ideally holding a degree level digital journalism or communications related qualification, you will have experience and knowledge of Content Management Systems (preferably Word-Press) and will be comfortable planning, developing and delivering projects and programs that engage multiple audiences and enhance the navigability and usability of our site.
