Job Description
Academy Coach at an independent football academy based in Farnham, Surrey.

– Evening work only, providing high quality academy sessions following our own syllabus to develop children aged 6-13.

– Minimum FA level 2 and Youth Module 1 with youth module 2 desirable. Must have First Aid, child protection.

– Main Responsibilities:
– To coach and develop 2 age groups a week.
– Evaluation of every training session.
– Produce detailed player reports alongside the Head of Academy on our database
– To take CPD events held by the Head of Academy
– Attend monthly development meetings with the Head of Academy and all Academy staff

    Personal Qualities –
– Must be professional at all times and have the capability to work independently and as part of a coaching team.
– Must be enthusiastic, dynamic and creative when breaking down sessions and developing players.
– Build a rapport with players.
– Observe and give expert advice to players to get the most out of every individual.
– Experience working with elite/academy level players.
– Every coach must have a driving licence.

– Every applicant will be subject to a DBS (formerly CRB) form.
