Foundation of Light, the registered charity of Sunderland Football Club, aims to make learning and self-development fun by using the power of football. Already working with over 42,000 participants every year and employing over 180 staff, the Foundation is looking to add to its premier team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional Alternative Provision Coordinator to join our Intervention Unit working with KS3 and KS4 young people who are finding mainstream school a challenge.
The post-holder will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the unit; will essentially develop creative education and behaviour plans for the young people attending the provision; will manage the team; develop and deliver the curriculum and build and maintain excellent relationships with schools and the Local Authority.
