Herefordshire and Ludlow College are seeking to appoint an experienced, qualified teacher who possesses a Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) qualification with AMBDA status. This is an exciting and challenging role, providing an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic dyslexia specialist to deliver qualifications in their field of expertise. The successful candidate will deliver the SpLD Level 5 course with a view to picking up the SpLD Level 7 course in the new year. The role will also include delivery of various education and training courses.
This post is based at our Hereford Campus and is part time (0.5 contract).
We are looking for someone who is able to work 2.5 days per week to include one or two evenings.
As well as teaching our learners, there are a number of organisational and administrative responsibilities within the role. These include close liaison with other departments in the College such as Admissions, Finance and MIS as well as Awarding Bodies and organising External Verification (EV) visits. You will maintain appropriate records and selection and information events for all courses you deliver.
