CTL for History – The Corsham School – Wiltshire

The governors of The Corsham School Academy Group wish to appoint an inspirational Teamleader for History, to continue the development of our successful history team. You will need to be an outstanding practitioner who is committed to the highest quality of teaching & learning, with a proven track record of excellence.

You will need to demonstrate and give examples of:

Outstanding classroom practice
Strong leadership skills
Creativity
Effective use of data analysis
Systems for monitoring and evaluating

The team follows OCR at GCE and GCSE and is currently involved in an ipad pilot in the school. The successful candidate will be someone who has the vision to lead the team through examination change, whilst maintaining the highest possible standards and encouraging colleagues to develop an innovative pedagogy to suit the needs of 21st century learners.
