The opportunity has arisen for an outstanding Leader who has the skills, experience and vision to inspire the English Department to raise standards and work cross-curricular to improve literacy levels.
The successful candidate will be an inspirational figure to both students and staff, have a proven track record of outstanding teaching, excellent subject and curriculum knowledge and the capacity to lead a strong team of staff in order to raise standards further.
This particular position would be suitable for someone who is currently working as an outstanding leader or an excellent teacher who has the required skills for transition into a leadership role.

What strategies would you implement to close the gap in the attainment of key groups in English?
How would you develop a Literacy curriculum in Key Stage 3, that operates alongside the 2015 National Curriculum, and that services the requirements of English at Key Stage 4?
How would you develop the English curriculum in order to prepare students for 100% examination assessment at Key Stage 4?
How do your skills and experiences make you an excellent candidate for this specific role at Long Field Academy?
