The Duston School is seeking an exceptional leader and outstanding teacher for the post of Director of Learning, Mathematics from September 2015. The successful candidate will be a strong and inspirational teacher who is committed to leading this outstanding faculty through the next stage of its development. You will be a maths specialist with outstanding outcomes at all key stages and will have a proven track record of raising attainment and securing outstanding progress.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious leader to move the department beyond outstanding. In 2014 both our attainment and progress data placed the department in the top 20% of similar schools.
You will be involved in many forward thinking initiatives through school to school support and opportunities to deliver external CPD through our teaching school. In addition we are proud to be leading the way at Key Stage 5 as a core maths regional lead.
