Dare to achieve beyond what you are today
A rare and remarkable opportunity that will change your career.
Working as part of The GORSE Academies Trust, The Ruth Gorse Academy will ensure that students receive an outstanding education that focuses on aspiration, high expectations and personalisation. Together these non-negotiable values will instil in young people a self-belief that enables students to access the highest standard of higher educational provision and employment. We believe that poverty and deprivation should in no way limit either the quality of a young person’s educational experience or the levels of achievement to which those students are able to rise.
We are seeking to appoint a well qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational leader and Director of Mathematics to join The Ruth Gorse Academy from September 2016, ensuring that it becomes a truly outstanding establishment.
This is an important role in the academy’s development. The successful candidate, will form part of the leadership team, overseeing the Mathematics curriculum across the Academy, to ensure high quality curriculum provision and effective teaching and learning and will be an inspirational leader who can demonstrate passion, integrity and a strong record of effective practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is keen to be at the forefront of our organisational change. The GORSE Academies Trust continues to demonstrate exceptional opportunities for the students within the Trust. Recently, both The Morley Academy and The Farnley Academy were rated as Outstanding in all categories in their inspections’ we are determined to see The Ruth Gorse Academy achieve the same.
