This is an exciting time for the company as it expands its products to engage in new ways with its target audience.
Applicants must have an excellent command of spoken and written English, editing and proof-reading experience, and be able to manage time effectively and work to deadlines. Recent or current experience of working in legal sector publishing and/or the legal sector itself is also a must. Applicants need to be willing and able to travel internationally, as engagement with law firms is a crucial part of the role. Some experience of managing teams is desirable because editors within the company operate on a project management basis. Foreign languages are a useful secondary skill, but not essential.
The role may be suitable for an editor, a deputy editor looking to make the next step up, or for a lawyer or business development executive with editing skills that is seeking a career change. This is an excellent opportunity to develop products within The Legal 500 Series in a challenging and vibrant sector. You will be part of a successful, ambitious and growing organisation, where hard work is rewarded and good opportunities for career progression exist.
